February, 2001 The Residuals Management team at Porter Environmental has been nationally recognized for its dedication to protecting and restoring Water Quality. Attached is an article entitled “True Recycling” that details our contributions to the industry. The article appeared in the National Magazine “Cleaner”. Porter Environmental – front page of Cleaner – was profiled in the feature article.
   
September 1999 PSI was selected to participate in a career website for the Environmental Protection Agency. Dr. Porter also taught the mathematical modeling component of the EPA course entitled “Modeling Subsurface Hydrocarbon Transport and Natural Attenuation”. March 1998 Dr. Freda Porter, PSI, is appointed to the Enhancing Diversity in Graduate Education (EDGE) Advisory Committee. EDGE is a graduate transition program for women in mathematics. The four-year program has been successful in helping sustain students through the initial years of graduate study.
