Dorney, Environmental Engineer

Ms. Dorney serves as the Army Contract Position Liaison to Pope
AFB responsible for assisting in BRAC Transition. Position requires
technical review and comment on CERCLA/RCRA investigation, remediation,
and closure reports generated by contractors, oversight of remediation
activities on the installation to ensure regulatory compliance,
and coordination of remediation activities among the installation
and regulatory agencies (federal and state). Provide technical review
of innovative technologies, technical infeasibility waivers, new
strategy development, and potential regulatory impact and enforcement
liability of impending legislation.
Ms. Dorney has experience in concrete testing, soil proctors, nuclear
soil density testing, surveying, sediment sample testing, nutrient
sampling, and soil size analysis. She has surveyed stream sites
to evaluate mathematical relationships between various stream features
on reference reaches.
She has knowledge of National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA),
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Toxic Substances
Control Act and other related laws. Ms. Dorney has a certification
in hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER)
and is skilled in identifying, evaluating and controlling a wide
variety of hazards.
